Well done K&C. They might not look they are made of iron, perhaps because of too much KFC washed down with copious amounts of cold beer, but Kevin and Chuck are our latest Pope Ellis Iron Men, having completed the Midmar Mile, Comrades Marathon, and the Dusi Canoe Marathon. Well done boys, more beers earned!
Also swimming Midmar were some proper paddlers like Bridgitte Hartley and Pippa McGregor along with brothers Herman and Oscar and their 87 year old dad Paul, who did his first ever Midmar. Fantastic.
Also fantastic is Caren (our administration chief in the corner office) who completed her 12th 8 Miler, swimming all 8 races in just over 4 hours. 70 PinkDrive 8 Milers raised over R750 000 for Cancer Awareness – well done to all.
As for K&C, well they busy living life and looking forward to doing it all over again; with Dusi in just 8 days they will soon be down in the valley, getting thirsty, and earning even more beers.
